- Reporting related issues were fixed.
- During Enter Results / Take Test / Assign Test - The essay score entry mechanism was modified.
- Test assignment process was enhanced.
- Account area left hand navigation was modified.

- Under the hood work has started on content management area .

2013 Jul Release
- Major upgrade of the system infrastructure was done to handle data, users and usage growth.
- Performance improvement were done to handle the load better.
- Updated/upgraded number of underlying infrastructure software – to make things more secure, due to support expiration or higher capacity.
- Example - operating system version, web server version, report processing server, database versions were updated. This is helping on overall capacity, performance and security on number of fronts.
2013 Aug Release
- Emergency fixes were made to fix the site sluggishness issue.
- The high volume of users on site, and heavy usage by certain users, was causing the server to the respond slowly to a few other users. Adjustments were made in users account, reports generation method to overcome the performance issue and tweaking of new software was done to take advantage of new features.
Behind the Scene
- The issue was narrowed to a combination of bug in upgraded infrastructure software and Socrato (reporting) code. When a particular account user was requesting a particular report – due to some issue in their data, the report was going in the infinite loop and causing the server to consume the resources for certain duration, in turn, causing the slow response to few other users. The data was fixed, as well a report code patch was applied.
2013 Sep Release
- A major upgrade was done in the content management area. The new setup will allow us to add processing rules for number of new exams and test at fast pace.
- A new security model was added in the content area, so the users will be able to edit and manage their custom test.
- Export of exam summary report was added.
2013 Oct Release
- Reports
with empty sections / graphs were causing the issue for custom reporting
users. The issue was narrowed to the bug in the 3rd party reporting
engine software.
- An upgrade was done to the new version of 3rd party software.
2013 Nov Release
Major upgrades to three areas of Socrato are done.- Library Area - Updated Exams, Publication and Tests List
- Navigation of “My Library” and “Public Library” is updated
- Updated Exams List shows the count of available Publications and Tests.
- Direct access to Exam Publications from main navigation.
- Easy and direct access to Tests of any Exam and Publication.
- A single Test List view regardless of, form where user is accessing it.
- Academy Student Management - Access to staff loaded Tests Results to Student.
- Academy Owners/leader/staff Can can create the user id and password for Academy student to login and view their results online.
- Academy Students are able to see the assigned and completed (by Academy Student) Test Results. Now they are able to see the Results submitted / loaded on their behalf by Academy Staff too.
- Reporting Engine Editor - Upgrade to Create More Modern Reports
- The report development software is now synced with the reporting server upgrade done in the Oct 2013 release.
A number of other minor bugs were resolved.
2013 Nov Release 2 - Content Update
In past few weeks, number of SAT and ACT Tests were configured for processing in Socrato. Majority of them are from recent years. For these new additions, you can assign to students, upload students result to process scores and generate diagnostic analysis. Please be sure to match the Form Code before uploading the results.
